WIDI loosing connection

Hope the subject is ok here! Now done 3 gigs with the ST3 and its working fine. However last night my WIDI lost connection twice. I'm using 2 x Ipad 9. One is wifi to my RCF18 digital mixer, other is running ST3 with a Widi Master Bluetooth to the mixer for patch changes both for vocal reverb and guitar patches which are built in to that mixer. Small venue that was very busy, no other Bluetooth on stage. Its been fine since getting the ST3 at the end of January. My option is to change back to USB from Ipad via Apple converter to the midi interface. Any ideas? Cheers, Mel

Melharris might have been due to it being busy but you would get better reliability if you got another widi device (bud pro or uhost) for your iPad and set a grouped connection up.
You’d get even better reliability going wired.

Thanks for getting back, I got the answer I was expecting. Ha! I'm thinking that if I have to plug a usb device into the Ipad I may as well just run a cable to the mixer. Thanks again.

With a full house I also loose the connection from time to time (maybe once every 2 or 3 gigs). But that does also happen with the wifi connection to the mixer. So all things wireless are error prone with lots of mobiles in the room all looking for Wifi.
