I am using a M2 Macbook Air (recently updated to latest OS Ventura 13.3) to create tracks/songs. I am trying to transfer one of those tracks - a multi-track with txt lyrics and chords with timestamps - to my ipad (also recently updated to latest OS 16.4). I am encountering three problems.
Airdrop does not appear as a "share" option from within the Stage Traxx program on the Macbook. I can save to iCloud, Dropbox, etc, but no airdrop options (or even the airdrop icon) appear. When in the finder, I can see the ipad as an airdrop option, so the issue is local to the Stage Traxx app.
After failing to airdrop my test song, I saved it to icloud files. When trying to "add song" on the IPad, I can see the file in my icloud files, but it is greyed out. I went into my files app and made sure the file was downloaded locally, but when in the app the file was still greyed out.
I went back to my Macbook, and entered the finder - found my song file, and then successfully airdropped it to my Ipad. It launced the Stage Traxx 3 App as expected, but the song file has basic details, but is highlighted in red and is listed as "missing." If I try to play the file, I get a series of "File Read Error" messages - one for each backing track.
Not sure what I am doing wrong....
UPDATE - I was able to create a "full backup" (containing the single song with tracks) on the MacBook, airdrop it to the iPad from the finder, and then restore from it on the iPad, and the one song in the file works properly. Still can't send individual songs as per the above....
