How to send Midi CC command for FX mute to XR18 mixer

I cannot figure it out - I have no problems sending commands for Logic Pro but not from StageTraxx.

If you tell me what command should be sent, I can show you the correct syntax.

I have tried with the simplest command [midi: PC0@1] which aught to change snapshot (preset) in XR18 and nothing happens. When I send the same command from Logic Pro it changes.
I have tried the same command from an iPad and no reaction.
Is it maybe some setting in the XR18 midi section that is wrong?

I think you need to disable the USB-DIN Pass Thru so that the XR18 will react to midi commands. Your midi syntax is correct and should not be an issue.

It works now - but only if I specify the timecode where it has to happen - not just if I put it in a line where it has to happen.

Without timecode the command is only sent when you load a song. With timecode it is sent during playback. That's the difference. See here: https://stagetraxx.com/user-guide/midi/#send-midi

In the manual it says "MIDI commands have to be embedded into song lyrics. You can define MIDI commands anywhere in the lyrics." - nothing about that it has to be timestamped - my logic said that I could place it in the text before a timestamped lyric - but I was wrong. Maybe you should point that more specific out in the manual.

The manual says:

... You can define MIDI commands anywhere in the lyrics. Each MIDI block has to be defined in a single line with no other text in that line.

You can not place a midi command in a line that contains something else.
