peter I guess I will just increase the number of regions to something like 50 or so. There really is no technical reason for the limit. If you want to you can go crazy with regions.
I suppose you could break the song down to 8 bar regions and be able to jump to any part of song but that would be very hard to operate , really another 8 regions should be more than enough total of 20 and double the colour pallet or make it a 20 colour so each section can be a different colour, but a counter of what loops are left would be most helpful, I am happy with 12 loops and 12 colours as I find the loops get too small and selecting them is hard, foot pedals would be even more time consuming the more loops you have to go through to get to the one you need.
Perfect balance might be 16 loops and 16 colours,
Having less is easier to create useful loops that work and less choices to make of which colours to use, having too many colours defeats the purpose of easy recognition to where to jump to next, a good balance is the answer just like your zoom in and out in editing it’s a perfect balance where you can get perfect loops created by zooming in all the way and it does not over zoom so you know you won’t waste time to zoom back out cause you’ve gone too far.
Same applies to too many loops can create a dogs breakfast to operate.
I’m happy already just give me a counter.
Ok 16 loops 16 colours just in case I need that bit more sounds like a perfect balance.
