SansMuso on song should be renamed off song it does not come close to ST3, if you are a working musician that needs that extra help on stage.

I would easily have paid twice as much for this app. It's far superior to any of the other apps for my needs.

You may prefer ShowPlay at 225 US$ which runs on laptops (yuck...) with a dongle. Used it for a few years before discovering ST which works on a small iPad and doesn't make you look like a DJ on stage with your Windows device

Hi Alan, I also purchased ShowPlay and never used it regularly and gave up on it as it was on a large laptop that looked bad on stage in the early days when backing tracks were not so popular. I then came across Peter and the beginning of ST3 I was quite honest and told him the concept was good but the software sucked at the time , with lots of rearranging of interface and changing things we have got this far which I think nothing is close to ST3 and the way developers think I don’t think anyone is going to beat it for a very long time as they don’t seem to listen to real people with life experiences, so we are very fortunate Peter is listening and capable of providing us with what we have, to me it is one of the most useful software I have ever used on a device to actually do something for me besides playing games and surfing the net.
Good on Peter and I hope he gets all the rewards he deserves I hope others will follow his ways of developing useful software.

I tried OnSong and it was just SO buggy and way too many "features" that I got bogged down in it...I just couldn't get it to work right.

I will give a shout out to SongSheet Pro - it does do alot for the money and is rock solid. I moved from that to Stage Traxx 3 because I wanted MIDI and sharing ipad sessions - these 2 features alone are gold.

Yeah same here. Got sick of lack of help and all the bugs in OFFsong. Stage Traxx leaves it for dead and Pete’s help is invaluable. After 2 weeks I deleted offsong.

ventman yeh! I deleted it as well but I still keep getting their damn annoying advertising emails I can’t seem to stop them.
If only they spent more time on software development understanding and less on advertising, it might help them.

I have a lot of experience using Prime from Loop Community. But what I dislike is the subscription and walled garden models. I'm looking forward to implementing this soon.

CFMD28 That’s how most software works, they want your money first and providing a service is a secondary service if you get something that actually works for you is pure luck, but ST3 and a very few others actually deliver the usefulness and aren’t ripping you off constantly.
Whoever buys ST3 to control their music in any way they require will not be disappointed, I am a very fussy software user so I don’t say these things lightly cause there isn’t much great software out there most is poor attempts to do something useful.

There are so many apps out there that you can use to play music.
ST3 is second to none for performers. I mean none....
Once you learn how to use it, you can do whatever you want on there.

Peter, is amazing too. He's very hands on with questions and answers, also this community is such a help with new starters like I was. (I still need help sometimes too though ).

If you want something that works and can fine tune to your needs, that doesn't add extra £££s on constantly.
This is it...

Go to the App by store and get it, you won't be disappointed.

As a ST3 user for only 3 months, I’ll my my Resounding AMEN to the positive comments about the functional value of ST3 AND Peter’s responsiveness. Song Pro works well but ST3 adds so much more; I’m just starting learning the multitrack and looping functions. Many thanks, Peter, and the ST3 community!

Damir I used ShowPlay regularly on gigs on the smallest laptop I could find ! They look so f&§king awful on stage :-D
But it was a brilliant piece of software which they never developed on Apple.
Been with StageTraxx for some years now and never regretted the move ;-)

AlanC76 I also bought show play to use but never ended up with it on stage as I found better simpler options but when I came across ST2 in its infancy and Peter , i could feel that we were on the same path to better ways but never thought I would ever see the end result like we have now in ST3 in my lifetime, so I am really happy that i don’t need anything else to perform on stage at the end of my musical career, the new comers don’t realise the money and effort we have put in to years ago to achieve the end results like we have now with ST3, but I also never thought I would build my own electric car 15 years ago when nobody knew about them, life is certainly moving at a much faster pace today, so keep on ROCKN , I’m back from holidays and have a gig coming up , can’t wait , thanks to Peter and ST3 .
