Audio region not showing

Audio region does not show up on "joined" iPads. Am I doing something wrong, are they not supposed to or is it maybe an upcoming feature?
We are using StageTraxx for click and some tracks but it's a pain to set the regions listening to just a click and some horns for example. The way I do it now is that I export a full song from Logic and set the regions on that one. Then I do another export with just the click and the chosen tracks, give it the same filename and update the file in StageTraxx. Is this really the smartest way to do it? I would like to keep the full song as well together with all the information so everyone can use it for their homework. Just to make it even messier I would like to have another version of the same track to use when the guitarist is missing so I have his part added in the backing track. So it would be nice to copy the audio region info from one track and directly apply it on another. Is that maybe possible in the future?

I can not send the audio region info over the existing network protocol without breaking backwards compatibility. Maybe I will find a way in 3.7 but currently it is not possible.

I guess with the different setups you have you might be better off with using the multitrack features. That way you have only one song and can decide on a gig to gig basis which tracks should run and which should be muted. Just make sure that instruments always use the same tracks. For example Drums always on Track 1. Then in settings you can turn off track 1 for all songs with a single tap.

Ok, then I know. It would be super to have it shown to everyone. And you are perfectly right about multitracks. When I started using the app my setup was simple and my needs as well so multitrack was a lot of unnecessary work at the time. But it seems to be the right time to jump down that whole and redo all songs as multitracks. A little bit of work but it sure seems to make everything much easier.

Just keep in mind to use the same sample rate for all your multitrack songs and set that rate as the engine sample rate in ST3.

Hi @Peter , it would be appreciated if the audio regions are displayed in the remote session. My use case is the following:

a band member controls the start/stop and song order during gig
another band member controls the looping

Also we have all our exported songs with loop regions written to it and we use mostly as labels so we know where we are in the song.

Is there any plan to add this in a future release?

Version 4 will display regions but shared control will most likely not be possible.
