Two part click

I have a question/suggestion that may or may not be possible to do with this system. I’m new to Stage Traxx and we’re using it in our band. My question is, would it be possible to have a two part start process where you could
A-start the click and just have it go indefinitely so you could get an audience clapping or drums starting to the upcoming songs tempo just to build up on the beginning of a song.
B- Then as they’re clapping or whatever, start the click to the actual track and have it fall right into place with the first click track so the song would start when you’re ready to begin.

Maybe a distinct “different” click tone to let you know that the beginning click has ended and the click for the actual songs track has begun and you can count the band in.

This is just an idea. I’m not sure if that’s even possible but i think it would be really cool if it could work. Or possibly there’s an Audacity workaround. So part

Well doing exactly what you describe is not really possible. Generating a click and making it fall into place is really hard to do in an automatic way. Doing it manually by trimming your song so that it starts exactly on a beat might work though. But I guess this is currently way out of scope.

What I might be able to do sometime in the future is a loop feature where you could define a loop in the song and press a button to exit the loop. That would be possible but even then setting accurate loop points might take a lot of time.
