Review/First Impressions after a Gig with Stage Traxx 3

I'm not normally one to write reviews but I have spent so much time looking for the perfect solution to running tracks and lyrics at my show only to be constantly disappointed....well that disappointment ended at my gig last night. I discovered Stage Traxx last Sunday night and spent the next 2 days moving track files and lyrics into the software. I played my first gig with Stage Traxx on Thursday. I found the entire process to be very strait forward and simple (although time consuming for the amount of songs I needed to move).

My journey to this point started with Setlist Maker then Bandhelper, Onsong, SongOne all running in conjunction with Ableton Live for the tracks. I have now completely eliminated the need for a MacBook with Ableton Live. Also, I'm not tap dancing on a foot pedal to scroll lyrics through songs. The flow of my show was so easy last night.

I'd just like to say a very sincere "Thank You" to Peter for taking the time to write this software. Stage Traxx is exactly what I've been looking for and I didn't think it existed until I stumbled upon it in a musician's Facebook group. I left a review in the Solo Acoustic Musician's Facebook group as well.

Thank you very much Ray9s. I'm glad Stage Traxx works out for you. It's certainly not perfect but I try hard to keep improving the app.

Also I fully agree ST3 is awesome I just started to use the auto play feature I never used that until today now I can’t wait till my gig on Friday to select next song and auto play will do it’s thing and all my tracks are balanced now so all my levels on my songs are same
This takes ages to do days weeks but it’s well worth it as I have people from audience saying your sound is awesome, I explain the above then and show them what I’m using, Peter this is a brilliant App
The more you use it and play around with its features better it gets, I was just using it as each individual playlists but now I’ve used volume control to set all my song levels so they are same levels, and now discovered Autoplay, and I decide what song I shall sing next, Excellent Peter you deserve a lot of credit and respect for ST3 💛😊 also it helps that members on this forum give their input and are so supportive.

I have custom mapped unused buttons on my Voicelive 3 to send Midi via 2 WIDI masters and 1 WIDI Uhost to toggle FX from my MR18 and to send Midi for Crossfades in ST3

Likewise I must give thanks to Peter for putting this very user friendly Musician's system together.

I was previously running my tracks from a netbook, using VLC Media player, which worked well for me for a number of years.

However, although I know most lyrics by heart, there were quite a number of songs I had tracks for that I never or rarely performed, as I needed to look at bits of paper with lyrics on them, which was inconvenient and messy on stage!

Now with Stagetraxx 3 which I've been using for a couple of years, anything is possible, and I especially like the ability to use keywords to categorise various songs, and also to arrange playlists, which are then easily instantly able to be changed or added to during live performance.

I hate to use cliches, but Stagetraxx 3 is much better than sliced bread!!!

Well done Peter, and many thanks for your patience during my early times with Stagetraxx when I constantly emailed you for support...your responses were very quick, and answered my queries!
