Hi Jan, in the video the time stamping is a rough example by Peter as its actually out of time to where it actually needs to be , you have to hit the timestamp half a beat earlier so the highlight actually appears just slightly before you need it otherwise it becomes offputting when singing and using it as a visual prompt,
but the explenation to your question is , you have two choices to where you want the highlighted line to be one is in the middle and the other is at the top of lyrics screen.
If you choose the middle when you innitially start the song it appears to start at the top and moves down towards the middle and then it stays there , this only happens at beginning of song.
If you go to settings , autoscroll settings, current line position, you can make your choice to where you want the highlighted line to be.
I used to use the middle but now i use the top as it has a number of advantages, the lyrics you actually need are always at the top so when you desperately need that lyric its much easier to pin point it immediately, plus when you use search and the keyboard pops up it still exposes your needed lyrics, and its much better when using small screen devices. The other great thing about using top view is you can use the loop points to just jump to any part in a song and be presented with those lyrics which get exposed on the whole screen, like verse 2 , just tap that loop point and presto you have verse 2 in the screen , this is fantastic when just needing lyrics.
But its all your choice to what you need.
Thats the beauty of ST3 it allows the user to be in control to create a working environment that suits their need.
Happy new year!
