Feedback on ST3,
At family get together having a musical family we pulled out our old accoustics and started singing away but of course the dreaded lyric problem was there especially after a few drinks, so i pulled out my iphone and ST3 to the rescue, but my other relatives pulled out the websites that had lyrics so the competition was on, ST3 blew them out of the water as the website lyrics were hard to see and a number of songs had poor or wrong chord structure, everytime i used ST3 everyone could see the lyrics from a distance and my chords were clear and easy to follow, so we ended up using it for the evening as it was much better to use.
The thing i noticed was it was easier to finger scroll through the lyrics using the screen than using the loops idea which i had perfectly prepared, because the selection of loops was too inconvenient as i would block the whole screen while trying to jump to next part of the song lyrics, so again pointing out perhaps a select button on bottom right side might create an easier way to quickly jump to next lyric section, using the finger swipe on screen is ok but it still hides your lyrics as you are swipeing because there is no definite positioning of this gesture, so you can easily move too far and loose your spot, perhaps a quick swipe only to move one screen worth of lyrics would be more handy, that way you just quickly swipe so you dont hide your lyrics for too long but you can be guaranteed you wont scroll further than the next full screen, this would be like a page turn but it would be an actual screen turn, this would make it very fast and conveniant, and allow the lyrics to be reasonably large as the scrolling would be accurate and easy.
Anyway xmas was a lot more fun thanks to ST3.
