Hello . As I’m a very heavy organized user of this great app I would like to point out something that needs to be definitely added. Since I already time stamped all my lyrics (Manyyyy)there is this big problem that if you didn’t predict the delay when you registered the lyrics now you have a big problem when you host a session since the delay will kick the client out of lyrics timing. I believe a lyrics time stamp offset option must be added at the song editor or as a general adjustment or both ! Also in playlist view a search must be added.
Thank you in advance
Lyrics time stamp offset

You can already offset your lyrics. See here: https://stagetraxx.com/user-guide/lyrics/#time-coding-lyrics

Dear Peter thank you for your suggestion. But the only problem is that first of all this means that if you have hundreds of songs you need to go through each one of them and that is not really convenient. So a main adjustment would be great .And secondly adjusting the offset to your host machine in order to compensate the delay so the client machines get the right timing puts the host machine way out of timing for the lyrics. I found it to work well with a 5 second delay so the clients get the right timing.
Are you saying you need to add a 5 second delay on your network clients? That sounds like a serious problem in your network setup. Usually the delay between client and host in a dedicated wifi network should be less than 100ms. Which should not be noticable when highlighting lyrics.

peter When performing somewhere you don’t have always a network so it’s direct host to client connection. *And actually just realized The main problem !!that the offset time stamp in the lyrics of the main host machine doesn’t affect the clients timing of the lyrics. Just the hosts ! I’ll attach a video . The host is the iPad ( I used [offset:10000] for the purpose . So the whole idea is if the time stamps were added manually and you didn’t take in account the transmitted delay or you were kind of off in the timing ,you are domed . It’s strange that the offset in the host doesn’t effect the transmitted lyrics. Trying to upload a 1 mb mp4 file and it says I cannot upload this file type!
The offset tag is used by network clients. Did you maybe chose to show local lyrics on the clients? In that case make sure the offset is also set on the clients.
Don't rely on adhoc networking when performing. You will get disconnects once more than 20 or 30 people are in the room! Always bring your own wifi router!
