Hi Peter, just wondering would it be possible to have verbal search command of ST3 folder only.
So if the iOS device microphone can be used to control the ST3 search feature, similar to Hey Google devices you can buy and search the net to play music but in a specified manner to suit ST3 s folder only, example Hey Search! Love me tender, and the results pop up on screen , like Hey Siri but dedicated to ST3 search only.
This could be setup on a headset radio mic for really noisy environments and be there to use throughout the performances, you move away from you singing mic and just speak to the search engine which presents you with a result without touching a thing, it then gives you an option to select the desired song as next song if you are in play mode, or you choose it to be the now to play song if in stop mode, a double tap on it starts it immediately.
This search facility to be only used on ST3 and dedicated to ST3 folder only, so we can just say HEY SEARCH ! To activate it, and then the name of song or any word combination that will find the closest results but only in ST3 folder all song names and artist. To exit just say END SEARCH! and all is back to normal just like using Cancel .
This would speed up search process and make it really user friendly on stage.
At the moment verbal control is not very well utilised on Apple products, Google seems to be leading in this area , as all my friends and I use their home device speakers to play music in the home and it works seamlessly, I can control volume and my search criteria even when the room has got background noise it works fine, so why can’t we introduce this on Apple devices on dedicated software to be a great benefit for users? Is it another APPLE thing?are they falling behind that much?
Ok that’s my thoughts for this morning I’m of to play table tennis, have a great day everyone!
