Question, re lyrics only files transfer

Hi Peter where can I find the Lyrics only files in ST3 folder, so I can transfer one particular lyrics only file from my iPhone to my iPad ?

I don’t seem to see any, anywhere.

They are only stored in the database. If you want to share them, you need to use the share button in the lyrics editor. It will then create a text file which you can save or send.

Thanks for that Peter, export as Email or or text file is ok but I just want to airdrop from one device to another from ST3 to ST3 just like audio files from ST3 folder to ST3 folder on the other device, that simplifies and speeds up the process.
Is that possible ?
Maintaining identical transfer operation on all file types, to reduce confusion.
Storing all file types in ST3 folder so they can be used/ transferred/copied/pasted/airdropped etc. in the same way reducing confusion.

Yes but that option is not available in the lyrics editor export selection , you only have Email or File Export, it would be nice to have airdrop there as well so it’s direct.

Select "File" and you will see the iOS sharing dialog with all available options. It is not possible to initiate Airdrop directly without this dialog from an app.

Ahaa ! Thanks for that I will definitely make good use of that .At the moment I haven’t got my other devices to try this.
Can I place this airdrop directly to other ST3 app and it is placed in to the software automatically?

You can store it anywhere you want. But you need to import it into the lyrics editor in ST3. So this might not really be the best way to sync your changes to another iPad.

Version 3.7 will make this syncing stuff way easier. Until then you need to make do with what is available in 3.6.

I am Absolutely loving this app, i have been mainly concentrating on giving feedback on looping feature as i have been flat out lately but will start concentrating on Lyrics Only as it is something i really want to use as well, it has great usefulness for musicians that don't need audio backing but need text only, especially on iPhones as everyone has one with them at all times, so whenever a need occurs they have quick access to lyrics.
