Jaime Stereo track an one more of click, out of synchro,wav,24-48,need just for backing track and click, live, but doesn’t work, awful……stereo track starts as usual, and 3-4 measures later the click track,so it’s useless,at least with this configuration……
peter Do both tracks have the same length? Can you check by file size? Both files should be the same size. Multitrack playback is sample accurate. A delay of 3-4 measures sounds like your files are not ok.
Jaime peter It’s the same session, mix and click,24-48,so I’m just work with mono mix left and click right ,I really like you fix it
peter To fix it I would need your tracks. Can you send the 2 problematic tracks to support@stagetraxx.com?
Jaime peter ok,I send you two videos playing the mixes, one stereo,no problem, and one multitrack, out of sync,I think this is a great app,but need to fix this, thank you at all Jaime de la Parra We Transfer……
Stikmaster I had this issue randomly. I think the reason why(in my opinion) multitracks can be out of sync is….. I played a set. Switched off(not shut down) my ipad. Switched it back on WITHOUT relaunching ST3. It’s early days, but now, in order to conserve iPad battery on a gig, I close the app and relaunch after switching iPad on. Hope this helps and makes sense. PS. while I’m on. Peter, is there any way you can adjust the time on the waveform playback flash towards the end of the song? I know it may sound weird, but on my residency we have to push the curtain remote 20 seconds before the end of the song. Thank you
Damir Stikmaster Peter, is there any way you can adjust the time on the waveform playback flash towards the end of the song? I know it may sound weird, but on my residency we have to push the curtain remote 20 seconds before the end of the song. I’d like a setting to disable it as it’s more nuisance than help when using loops, as it’s flashing unnecessarily as you reach the end and creates confusion with next song selected flashing. So I would prefer it was off completely when using loops. Here’s a suggestion you might consider if you are not using loops for anything, just create a 20 sec loop at end of song and colour code it to your choice so when the playhead reaches the loop you know you have 20 seconds left or any time you choose, this is only good idea if you are not using loops as intended.
Stikmaster Damir my apologies for not replying earlier with reference to your suggestion.👍 I think I must have been asleep 🤪
peter I have added a task to make flashing configurable for version 3.7. Back to the problem at hand: I have another idea what might cause this. What names do your multitrack files have? Keep in mind that they need to be unique. All multitrack files are stored in the same folder. So if your click track is always called something like "click.wav", then you will have the same clicktrack in all your multitrack songs. You should name them something like "songname-click.wav".
Damir peter I have added a task to make flashing configurable for version 3.7. Thanks Peter, that would solve the clash flash issue in looping. Could we also please have a solid colour on loops so we get a better view of the loops colours and names instead of a washed out look due to a waveform thats behind it that has no value whatsoever when looping and performing. Sure it looks impressive when editing at home i do agree with that but its a wank on stage. The waveform is fine to be there as long as we don't see it through the loop selections, as its more important on stage to clearly see your loop names and colours at a distance when performing in a bright environment than a waveform that you can not make any use out of yet it impedes with the best possible result of what we have now.
Jaime No problems with names at all,I almost live at my home studio and this is a project with backing tracks,iPad,focusrite interfase, that’s all
Jaime Sorry, just send it stereo mix, twice, but….I’ve restarted the app, play the mix….and sync at all! I’ts weird,so I’m going to try with all session and see what happens…..,I’ll send the video..
peter I have received the vidoes but I'm not sure what I see there. Couldn't you just send me the 2 tracks so that I can try to reproduce the issue myself? I do test with phase inverted files to make sure that playback is sample accurate. And I don't see any issues with it.
