For me this would primarily apply to the Mac version. . . would it be possible to add the features to start playback by clicking the space bar? Mostly this would be awesome in the lyric editor. This would defiantly speed up my work flow having keyboard shortcuts like this!

Soundtrack2life the only thing is space bar is used as a space bar in that screen for typing so I don’t think that will work unfortunately but yes a dedicated play button on the keyboard would be good.
Perhaps there is one already?
I don’t know but will look in to it.

I forgot about having to use it for typing lol. But yes any key could work!

That is great but a single key IMO would be easier. Although I’m sure I will get used to it.

You can assign any key to any action you want in Settings -> Assign Actions. Personally I also like to have the space bar for start / stop as this is similar to Logic or most likely any other DAW.

that's cool, wanted to use it in the Edit Audio Region, it starts the player as configured, but the progress cursor is not moving. Could this be added?

No because that could interfere with the text field in that window. It is a bug that the space bar command triggers the main player in that view. I will need to fix that.

well, may I suggest to disable the playback trigger only when the focus is on the text field in that window? Having the start/stop shortcut in the Edit Audio Region too would be great...
