iPad output routing

ST3 allows to redirect multitrack to headphone output or USB, this is great to have 4 real outputs. My use case is to have stereo backing tracks on USB and mono click on headphone L output.

Now I'm considering to switch to a newer iPad but latest version have no headphone output anymore. In this case is this feature still possible?

No, this feature does not work with new iPads. It's really a shame that Apple decided to get rid of the headphone socket.

oh, too bad, means the routing cannot be used anymore on latest iPad?

or is an alternative hardware option available to have 3 (or more, you apps allows 12 mono out!) separate outputs?

Well, you can use an audio interface with multiple outputs. The app in version 3.6 can use 4 stereo outputs. So any iOS compatible interface with 4 stereo outputs will work.

Don't know if this is the best thread to use, but I did not want to create a new topic and, while searching, this one seemed the more appropriate to me.

I'm using a iPad connected to a Behringer UMC404HD. The headphone port only monitors outputs 1/2 or 3/4, but I wanted to hear click and tracks on the headphone and just tracks on 1/2 output. Though maybe I could send click to 3/4 and tracks to both 1/2 and 3/4 - by redirecting the same bus to the 2 outputs (as stated in Mixer chapter in DOCS: Hardware Outputs — Each bus routes to a hardware output on your audio interface. You can send multiple buses to the same output, or spread them across different outputs for separate mixes.).

However, audio options just let me send a bus to one or another output. When I choose Stereo->1/2 it uncheck Stereo->3/4; cannot choose both 1/2 and 3/4 outputs at the same time.

What I am doing wrong?

You're doing nothing wrong. What you want to achieve is simply not possible with that interface as ST4 can not send one bus to multiple outputs. You would need to mixer so that you can feed your monitoring bus accordingly.
