janmurray Hi Jan, i see your problem , but perhaps instead of complicating the software unnecessarily for everyone else that hasn't got this issue i would suggest a couple of solutions, one is have your stop start button in pause mode so when you get to a end of song and you need extra time to tweak or speak just hit pause then when you got your self ready hit the same button to unpause and continue, this will automate your show with freedom to stop for a longer period but because all the songs are tightly bound together it will allow you to immediately start the next song whenever you are ready, and hopefully you don't need to do this too often.
Two is, If you are always needing a gap between songs then just add silence in front of all your songs in your DAW editing process and this then gives you the ability to use the trim start option for songs you want to start immediately.
I find option one is the best especially if you don't use the auto play all function but you do something different, i actually use the individual auto play button on my playlists wherever i need auto play in a playlist, this involves you ticking individually every song in the playlist while you are in STOP mode , what this does it works in a different way than auto play all function, it will allow you to disable auto play on the now playing song and stop at the end and wait for your start command this then gives you lots of freedom to do what you want but it wont change its settings for next time you perform as it is a once of thing it will still autoplay next gig as you have programmed it to do.
I know this sounds very complicated but play around with it till you see the logic this might solve your problem.
If you need me to explain in more detail let me know but it certainly works well if you know how it works. Auto play has more options than a lot of people know.
