Damir Did you read another article? The one I linked does not mention a MAC address anywhere???
If you have a network harddrive it surely can be accessed on your network with a name. I have a small file server that is called "tiny" and I just need to enter that in the "server" field. If it does not have a name, just enter the IP address you have assigned to that unit.
So, in a nutshell:
- Tap on the (...) icon and select "Connect to Server"
- Enter the name or IP address of the server
- Optionally enter the login credentials that you have setup on the server
That's all there is to it.
NAS = Network Attached Storage
SMB = A network protocol to connect to that storage
