Audio routing newer iPad

Greetings,
I have a newer iPad with only usb c output. I am using an adaptor to convert to 1/8 headphone jack. I need click track one side but would like at least 2 more outputs. I’ve watched your video about this but am still not sure if this is possible with new iPad and with or without audio interface.. thanks

On iPads without a headphone socket you can not use the "Combine Headphone & USB" option to get multiple outputs working. You need a USB audio interface with at least 2 separate stereo outputs.

Are telling me that newer iPads with usb c out can’t put out more than 1 channel without an external audio interface? I can’t have even 2 channels? 1 for click and one for main?

You only have one stereo output. So you could use panning to play 2 tracks through left and right on one output. But that's basically it.
