Chords Visibility on/off switch

Hello dear Peter. I have been hoping for this type of software for years. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
I am the singer in our band and I am also the track chooser. I also control the start & stopping of tracks on stage.
I don’t play an instrument but I would like to generate the chords for the guitarist. During playback, I would prefer not to see the chords. Could you please consider that as an additional setting “Chords visible for Host during playback”?
I realize we could just have our own versions, and just share the file name, but this would prevent us from using one backup file.

Hm, interesting request. Might make sense. I will add it to my todo list for version 3.7. Version 3.6 is already feature frozen.

Hello Peter, I again see an advantage for this feature. We will perform Christmas Gigs and want to use a Beamer to help the audience sing the text. If I could toggle off the chords on the device linked to the screen output, it would be far easier for the audience to read and not litter the screen, allowing space for larger text.

Version 3.7 is scheduled for the first half of 2023. It will not be available for christmas. I suggest you use a network session where you manually remove the chords on the client and show these to the audience.

I really like this idea as sometimes the addition of chords (which add extra lines) makes it difficult to see a whole verse on the screen. The chords are a welcome addition if I’m playing as well as singing but if I’m not playing on that gig it would be fabulous to get the screen real estate back for the lyrics.

My only suggestion would be that the switch is in the songs record rather than a global choice
