Importing from GarageBand how to

Hi I have just bought the app as it looks to do everything that I want it to. if it does I will be changing my on stage rig to my iPad, DI boxes and mixer, rather than a Roland spdsx, headphone amp, music stand and paper lyric sheets👍🏻

How do I import my backing tracks from garage band to the app, only using the iPad? iTunes is Apple Music now, so I can’t find the file sharing on it.

You mean Garageband on the iPad? Hm, you would need to export them to Dropbox and then import from Dropbox in Stage Traxx.

I guess the coming version 3 might load them directly from Garageband.

Is the drop box route the only way at the moment?

I'm afraid so. But you could install the beta version of Stage Traxx 3 and then save your songs from Garageband into the files app. You can then open them directly in Stage Traxx.

The beta version will keep functioning until the final version 3 is released and you will be able to move seamlessly with your data to the final version.

Thanks Peter. I’ve downloaded into beta seamlessly 👍🏻 I just need to figure out now how to get Stage Traxx to recognise it.

I have not yet written a manual for version 3 as I am still adding and changing features. So you will have to play around a bit.
