peter Closing the network view will terminate the network session because a running network session will prevent any active playback on this device. When you close the network view you can use the app just like you are used to instead wondering why playback is not working (because you are still connected to a session and don't realize it).
I DONT AGREE WITH THIS LOGIC.
why?
When I decide to join a session and put in the effort to locate this option in settings it means I don’t want to play anything from this device I am needing it as a slave to display lyrics /chords or whatever, I don’t want to be easily disconnected from my host, at the moment it’s way to easy to loose your connection by mistake then you have to go back to rejoin again when you didn’t want to exit in the first place, it’s just to easy to be unnecessarily disconnected, why not not make it once you join a session there are only two ways to disconnect.
1 go back to settings and untick join session.
2 close the program and fire it up again as a default there is no joint session so you can work normally.
But once you decide to join a session you can be guaranteed it will be there no matter what you touch on the interface as that’s what you have decided and you don’t want things to change on you by silly or accidental touches by people that might be in front of your other screens that don’t know how to use the software, my daughter uses a second device and she always stuffs up the screen now I have taught her how to get back, but that should not be an issue in the first place, it should be rock solid and fool proof.
