Backing Up ST3 onto old PC

My PC has itunes and its been the "Library" for the longest time. I holds the songs..and I load them into ST3.
I've been doing this for some years ,now. My concern is that I have been pruning the contents of the 2 devices seperately (example I delete 5 unneeded songs from ST3 that runs on my Apple Ipad Mini2, and then maybe delete 2 of the songs from my PC that runs itunes and acts as my "Library". So, in my mind there may be a conflict. But help me here...when I next hook up my Ipad mini2...shouldnt it resolve any disparities? Forgive me, I don't stay on top of this stuff..so I cant remember what the "rules" are. Any help appreciated. Thank you in advance.

GtrGeorge the two systems are totally seperate and don’t auto communicate.
So if you load from iTunes all the files are copied/duplicated in st3 folder so no matter what you do with them in iTunes from then on ST3 is happy, and if you delete them in ST3 I tunes remains untouched, this is great if you don’t bounce tracks back and forth as it can be a real pain on the brain, so best solution copy all your music to ST3 and stop using iTunes, unless you need it for song shopping, if you buy files on itunes just copy them to ST3 as it’s the only app that gives you total FREEEDOOM! once you fight through the maze of money grabbing apps you can end up in a nice app like ST3 that you can call HOME relax and have a sip of wine🍷.

What Damir said. All audio files are located in Stage Traxx 3. You can completely erase your iTunes library without having any impact on ST3. When migrating to a new iPad a migration assistant will allow you to transfer all apps & settings from an old iPad. This will also transfer Stage Traxx with all audio files to the new iPad. So nothing to do on this side.

Apart from that, just create regular full backups in Stage Traxx and copy them to your computer via iTunes filesharing. Then you can always restore your whole ST3 library even if your current iPad does no longer work at all.
