GtrGeorge device size, i use to use 9.7 inch ipad pro 127gb as anything smaller was a bit hard on my eyes as i place my device at the end of my boom arm but on the top of it, because i drop that section down and angle it up towards me, it levels itself off so it looks really thin from the audiance point of view, this works really well i dont understand why all the pictures you see of devices placed on boom arm mic stands are always place below the boom arm on the mic stand itself, so then you have the boom arm you have to look past and because you have to look further down your audience eye contact is harder to manage, my setup relies on the thin part of my device is facing the audiance and the screen is almost in line with my audiance , so all i do is slightly move my eye balls down and up and not my head, this is much less obvious to how much i am using my device.
So when i upgraded to my next ipad i had options to go to the 12.5 inch but didnt as it was unnecessaraly larger so i decided on the 10.5 ipad pro 256, since then i had my eye vision improved back to 20/20 by replacing my eye lenses, best thing i ever done i feel 21 again, now i could use my iphone 11 pro max at a distance and still see it ok, but i like my 10.5 inch screen as its easier to play around with, i must admit you option is something that might suit me the best now i have perfect vision.
