I'm considering to file this as a bug report to the developers of ST4 (beta), but I just want to check here first if I am doing something severely wrong or misunderstanding something in the user interface on my MacBook.
I am in the process of converting my ST3 backing tracks to ST4 (which I think has a lot of great improvements, by the way) my MacBook(s), and at the same time I want to adjust the Song Volume levels, since I have had a problems with varying volumes on the backing tracks while jamming with my band.
So I select a song, open the mixer and adjust the Song Volume from say, -3.6dB to 0.0dB by double clicking on the volume level meter (a great new feature, except for the extra confirmation dialogue). I close the mixer and open it again and the meter shows 0.0dB as expected. I close the mixer, play the song and open the mixer and it shows 0.0dB, also as expected. Fine.
Then I open the Song Details' audio setting and the Song Volume is shown to be -3.6dB instead of the new 0.0dB and I can actually hear ST4 lower the volume when the settings page opens. If I then go back to the mixer it shows the old lower -3.6dB again. OK, maybe it is meant that changes in the mixer should be only for the ongoing session and not saved for future sessions?
I then open the Song Properties / Audio dialogue and change the Song Volume there from -3.6dB to 0.0dB by double clicking on the meter (great feature again, and here without the extra confirmation dialogue, extra good). I close the Song Properties page and open the mixer. It shows Song Volume 0.0dB, fine. I play the song and open the mixer and it shows 0.0dB. Fine. I then select another song and go back to the first song again, open the mixer and it shows Song Volume -3.6dB and Song Details / Audio also shows Song Volume -3.6dB.
(Before you ask; I have also tried to change levels manually, without double-clicking in the mixer and the Song Properties, with the same results.)
To me this seems like ST4 is not saving my changes of Song Volume to its meta-database, neither from the mixer nor from the Song Properties Audio Setting.
Does anyone know how I should act to get ST4 to write my Song Volume changes done in the song Properties dialogue (and preferably also the mixer) to the database to stay there for the next session? Or is this in fact a bug (in ST4 build 2344 for MacOS) that should be reported and fixed?

OS Version: MacOS Tahoe 26.3 (beta), MacOS Ventura 13.5.1
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select a Song
2. Open Song Properties / Audio
3. Change Song Volume from for instance +0.0db to -2.0dB
4. Close Song Properties
5. (Optional: Open Mixer. Mixer shows Song Volume = -2.0 dB)
6. Open Song Properties / Audio again
7. Song Properties / Audio shows Song Volume 0.0dB (and you can hear the volume change as the dialogue opens)
Expected Behaviour:
Changes to Song Volume in mixer or Song Properties / Audio should be saved in the ST4 database.
Actual Behavior:
Changes to Song Volume in mixer or Song Properties / Audio are not saved, but lost and reverted to old value when Song Properties is opened.
Additional info:
Changes to song volume on the same devices and OS's in ST3 work as expected.
