I am relatively new to both ST 4 and MIDI and am observing behaviour I am unsure of.

Have sent MIDI to BOSS GT-1000 in Example 1 successfully. Am now trying to get patch change and tuner toggle to work simultaneously. Seems I cannot send PC and CC commands at the same time.

Example 1:
This changes patch to 14 when the song is loaded

[midi: PC14@1]

Example 2:
This toggles tuner ON when the song is loaded
This toggles tuner OFF when the song starts playing

[midi: CC20.127@1]
[midi@play: CC21.0@1]

Example 3:
This changes patch to 14 when the song is loaded
This DOES NOT toggle tuner ON when the song is loaded

[midi: PC14@1]
[midi: CC20.127@1]

Example 4:
This changes patch to 14 when the song is loaded
This DOES NOT toggle tuner ON when the song is loaded
This will toggle tuner OFF if already on when song is played

If after the song is loaded, with tuner off, I manually toggle the tuner ON (via GT-1000 switch), this toggles tuner OFF when the song starts playing

Example 5:
This toggles tuner ON when the song is loaded
This DOES NOT change patch to 14 when the song is played
This DOES NOT toggle tuner OFF when the song is played

[midi@play: CC21.0@1]

I am uncertain if the flaw resides with me or if I am misunderstanding how to stack commands in the lyrics tab?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
